Our History

In 1974, RPC was opened for business. As the HVAC industry grew and more buildings became dependent on air conditioning, RPC was front and center to serve business needs. We supplied the parts needed to keep facilities cool, and we’ve established ourselves as the pinnacle of the industry since.

In 1978, we added a compressor remanufacturing facility. Many late nights were spent remanufacturing compressors for area hospitals and local office buildings. Today, RPC still supplies compressors from various remanufacturing facilities. We also provide new hermetic, scroll, screw, and semi-hermetic compressors.

In 1986, we opened our facility in Sterling, Virginia.   It featured over 11 thousand square feet of warehouse space and a custom two-ton overhead crane for handling tubes, which allowed us to have one of the largest inventories of chiller tubes in the United States.

Today, our commitment to providing quality compressors and parts has remained constant.  Our business continues to grow as our committed customer base increases.  Our forty-eight-plus years in business have been due to our initial business goal:  to solve customer problems urgently.   This foundation makes RPC the Mid-Atlantic region’s premier compressor and parts supplier.

Our Mission

For almost 50 years, RPC has provided compressors and compressor parts throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. RPC exists to serve our customers’ needs by providing quality compressors and compressor parts on time at a reasonable price.
